Hans Olsson is a Marie Curie fellow at the Centre of African Studies, University of Copenhagen where he currently is conducting the research project “’Farming God’s Way’: Cultivation and Religious Practice in contemporary South Africa” funded by the European Union under Horizon 2020. Olsson holds a PhD (2017) in Global Christianity and interreligious relations from Lund University. His doctoral work focused on Pentecostal-Charismatic Christianity in Zanzibar, and he is the author of Jesus for Zanzibar: Narratives of Pentecostal (Non-)Belonging, Islam and Nation (Brill, 2019) [1] as well as several articles.
